Meditation can help us to understand our own mind. We can learn how to transform our mind from negative to positive, unhappy to happy. If we make a habit of meditating, we feel mentally fresh and we are able to deal with difficult situation more easily.
For thousand of year people have used meditation to move beyond the mind’s stress- inducing thoughts and emotional upsets into the peace and clarity of present moment awareness.
Purity of heart or freedom from resentment, hate, prejudice and negative thinking is another objective of meditation.
Of course, as in all things, it takes time to learn to meditate, but the more you practice the quicker you learn and the more benefits you will get.
